While people who get the "free" version get all the goods, we paying customers don't even get wide screen support. Whats the best part?? When we start reading this "PC gaming is dying, DC collection vol.2 is console only"

I don't think that widescreen support should necessarily be included unless each respective game supports it, since not all Dreamcast games support widescreen modes. I kinda wish that Sega would include support for more resolutions, though, albeit while keeping aspect ratios in-tact.

It's just disappointing that they could easily implement wide screen support, its not like I'm asking them to develop a new game. SEGA really needs to be ashamed that emulators can do better than their so called ports.

The games support 720p, which is a standard widescreen resolution. Your gripe seems to be more so with the fact that the game play doesn't fill in the area, and - again - that has more to do with the fact that not all of these games supported widescreen in the same manner. If you just want them stretched to fit the screen, regardless of how crappy they'd look that way, then...well...I just don't understand that reasoning.

Sorry for not being very clear, but I didn't want to go into all the details and issues as many have already complained about them. I'm talking about the game running in actual 1080p instead of stretching to 720p, No AA, save issues, hardly any graphical configuration is just ridiculous!
I'm just asking if anyone knows if sega plans on doing something about all this.
Edit: Sorry my English didn't make any sense <_<

I doubt that there are plans for other resolutions that aren't already included. Also, no Dreamcast games are actually output in true widescreen. The resolution is, to the best of my knowledge, always 640x480, but the content (for some games) can be stretched to create the illusion of widescreen game play. Since some of the games on Dreamcast used anamorphic widescreen (the aforementioned stretching), they can be output at true widescreen without them looking strange. Not all Dreamcast games are like that.
As for the lack of anti-aliasing, yeah, that's a legitimate gripe, but it's hardly anything that's game-breaking.
And the only save issue that I'm aware of is that the proper directories aren't created upon installation. If you're having issues with the game, then check out my topic regarding support tickets.

I'm assuming they copied & pasted that from the console release. for them it is going to be better graphics compared to the original dreamcast release. If I recall this is the case with Beyond Good & Evil HD, where the rerelease is pretty much the PC version with a few tweaks.

Not only the PS3/360 versions have better graphics than this PC port, even the original 2004 Sonic Adventure PC port had better graphics, it didn't have as many "jaggies" as this new port...

The original SADX port supported true widescreen with some trickery, this one doesn't, and afaik this one renders at 480p regardless of the resolution you are using.

The "Free" customers don't get anything "extra", it's the same lack of widescreen for everyone, if you want true widescreen get the 2004 release of SADX and the widescreen patch.

Considering how bad emulators work for PS1 on up, I'm really surprised that non of you guys figured it would turn out like this. (Tho PS1 Emulation has been improved a-lot.) I expected the dreamcast games not to work well with most computers, if not all. I really don't understand how anyone could expect any different. Which is really too bad, because there are some dreamcast games I'd like to be able to play again.

These games aren't emulated, they're ported. That's like saying that nobody should expect the PC versions of Call of Duty to run well because there aren't any accurate Xbox 360 emulators yet.
Just because the game was originally intended to be played the Dreamcast does not mean the source code can not be modified to work well with other devices. In fact, these issues have absolutely nothing to do with emulation...

Yeah Emulation is definitely possible.. My PC can do most PS2 games full speed, xbox doesn't really have an emulator since you can directly mod the games to run on windows, dolphin runs most everything fine... DC Emulation has been possible for quite some time - and able to render the games in 1080 looking 100000x better than this crap I just paid for =(

I thought maybe ATLEAST they will fix the stupid collision instead of running through walls and dying, I guess SEGA will keep sucking.

How about those Xbox 360 versions of these games? Just wondering if they are any better.
(I saw that xbox logo in the end of the trailer)
