I get Connection to server is timed out every time

Opening steam as Administrator solved this issues for me... you should give it a try.

Also make sure your game is registered at Ubisoft or you probably will not get in.

I think this is the page to get a Ubisoft account and then after that is a page you can register games. It should give you MP access then, let me know if it that doesn't work.

It is some good fun especially robbing or defending banks. I need more practice as I tend to get shot up a lot. Also gaining bounty pts to open up more char options, but still some good times.

The site below has lots of user made maps for MP and SP, just check through and pick some of the better made ones. Also tells how to install them but not to difficult.

ah mates, Ive just bought the game in the weekend ubisoft pack, and having the same connection timed out problem... wtf?

disable hamachi or tunggle adaptor, after that Its working

Not working for me either AND Far Cry 2 is broken as well (key problem).

Okay it's working now. Far Cry 2 is still missing a CD-Key though. Guess we gotta wait on that.

My Bluetooth adapter was screwing it up, i also have vmware if your running it it could cause problems too. My bluetooth always shows up as network connection 0 and my nic as 1, as soon as i disabled my bluetooth it worked. It seems that ANY network connection could do it, not just hamachi or tunngle

Just putting it out there but I didn't have to change anything on my computer/network to get it running. I'm kind of wondering if there's just a lot of people signing up and their servers were flooded.

Keep trying guys. It should work.
