Any help would be much appreciated. I have a weird problem with Far Cry 2 that I can't find anyone else having. I have it on steam, and i can start the map editor just fine, as well as the benchmark tool, both of which i get above 50 fps in on ultra high settings. But when I start the actually game, it doesn't even crash or anything, what it does is make my (Im using a TV) just lose are the picture. it goes blue and says no input found. the sound keeps going, and i can even here myself click the menu buttons but it doesn't show anything. if i hit ALT+F4 the game closes and my desktop comes back totally normal. :/ WTF

I tried turning off my AVAST shields and it didn't help

I turned of my overclocks as well.

I can play Crysis, Metro 2033, and Cryostasis really smoothly so idk what's the problem

SPECS-
Windows 7 64bit
SLI Gtx 460's
amd phenom x4 965 3.4ghz
6gb ram

Does anyone have any ideas?

Try disabling SLI. IIRC, this game doesn't like it. Either that or the default screen rez is out of range for your TV.

If you're running it in DX 10 try using DX 9 instead.

Thanks a bunch guys I'll try those when I get a chance. Idk how I'd switch what direct x to use before even starting the game though. I can easily disable sli and I have a spare screen to test with too.
