So we reached 1,000 pretty early in the weekend but there was still a very steady stream of people emailing and asking to get in. In fact, the pace picked up as time went on, which means a good number of you must have been telling your friends.

EXCELLENT!!!

I've thought from the beginning that the success of Dino D-Day rests completely in the hands of the people that are the first ones to play it. We as the developers need to focus on making you happy, giving you the most enjoyment of Dino D-Day we can so that you go out, tell everyone what a cool game it is, and help spread the word and make the community grow.

So keep that feedback coming and keep telling everyone you know to give Dino D-Day a whirl. All of you out there playing the game right now are as much a part of the Development team as any of us!

Thanks again!

Where the hell are those 1000 beta key holders?

It's hard to find people playing at all (at least at the times I can play!). :(

Congratz on shipping your 1000 available keys! :D

If all 1000 beta testers played only 1 hour a day, we should have atleast an average of 40 beta testers actively playing 24/7.

But we do not see this. Why IDK, but you guys shouldn't have signed up for beta keys, if you are not actively going to report feedback and bugs. I think some people just wanted to test the game for free! >.<

I do have the feeling that there's quite a good amount of people
that played the game for 5 minutes, didn't like anything
and then threw it into the recycle bin without giving it a chance at all.

My suggestion to everyone that actually holds a beta key:
Give this great game a chance, once you get used to playing it,
it's great fun!

Closed betas are always a bad idea

Closed betas are always a bad idea

In Jurassic Park tradition.

If by the end of march if I'm not convinced; SPUF's not convinced.

We'll cancel our pre-orders c_b_fofep...

What is SPUF?

The question is:

Why pre-order a game that you're not convinced of?

The question is:

I was quoting Jurassic Park, but using SPUF instead of investors, and end of the month instead of 38 hours. And canceling pre-orders instead of shutting down, and of course c_b_fofep instead of John.

You can cancel a pre-order btw, so it doesn't cost anything. Plenty of people cancelled their Crysis 2 after they demoed it. Demos and betas are actually risky for devs because it pretty much kills buying by trailer.
