Does the steam version work on Windows 7 ?

Does the Steam version still use Starforce protection in addition to Steam ? (The retail version of this game using Starforce protection created big problems with Vista64 / Win7 machines).

Thanks if anyone playing the Steam version could let us know.

PS: I know the game is not officially supported on Win7.

Works on Windows 7 and it doesn't have StarForce (since the files are not present in the directory at all)

The StarForce drivers are not installed, but it does have occasional issues with higher screen resolutions.
