Will it last long for a few years or so when the graphics of future games get revamped?

I give a year or 2 before it has real issues running games.

There's no telling how long it will last, but given that DX11 games are still few and hard to find, I'd say it will be good for a few years at least.

I was thinking 1 year after checking out the Crysis 2 demo

But it's hard to say..

2 years may be possible..

It isn't as simple as slapping an expiration date on it. The 460's longevity depends a lot on the user. Can you tolerate ever reducing eye-candy, features and resolution? If so, you could likely get a good run out of it.

I'm still running a 8800GT. If you aren't a graphics ho they last a long time.

On the other hand if you have to be on the bleeding edge probably until a year or so after the new gen consoles launch in 2-5 years. PC gaming ain't going anywhere until then anyway.;):(

I'd say 3 years if companies start using U3.2 or whatever it's called but if not next gen of consoles...

`The lower your res is the longer it will last.

It will last until you feel your gaming performance is no longer acceptable.
