The background to the store page where you can buy Portal 2 from steam looked weird to me so I did some digging.

The Store:

For some reason to me it looks kind of icy and that was why I was curious enough to dig to find the whole picture.

I'm pretty sure no one else has posted this yet and I was wondering what you guys and gals thought about it. What do you think is in the very back of the picture? Crates or something else? And is it actually icy or is it an effect?

It looks like the test subject crates from the demo at PAX.

It definitely looks fog but that could be bloom and blur on. but those boxes look like storage cubes to me.

yeah it took forever I didn't find it by searching, I tried but failed :)
