Cake Mania 2 does not run under Win7

Hi, I bought the full collector pack and noticed CakeMania 2 would crash on boot. To remedy, set the compatible to Win Vista Service Pack 2.

The other versions works fine.

If anyone has a better solution.. note it down to help your fellow gamers :)

I am having the same problem as you were having. Your advice is helpful but I don't know how to change the compability on Win7... could you tell me how please? (:

Hi Evatany,

- Goto the app folder of cakemania*
- Search for the .exe
- Right click on the that file and select 'properties'
- Select the tab 'Compatibility'
- At that page you can check 'Run this program in compatibility mode for'
Select "Win Vista Service Pack 2" and press OK.

I hope you can find it.


( I'm at the office, so I don't have steam intalled, I think you will find it if you look into your steam install directory, search for apps and directory common. )
