I have a boat load of games as I am sure many of you all do as well. The one thing that just amazes me and I am sure draws me back to this game over and over no matter how hard I try to leave it is the fact that with "L4D" I can just click "play" and it plays.

I was looking at my games list this weekend and was thinking dam there are alot of games that you just cant sit and play without them either looking like complete ♥♥♥♥ or playing like ♥♥♥♥ due to having to edit/change alot of stuff to get it to work right.

I guess that is why personally I truly love this game despite its balance issues and well needed fixes. Is it because of the pursuit of money or is it because our pc genre is being overtaken by the almighty console why so many of the games that our coming out that we all know will be complete garbage?

I would probably have moved on to something new if there was anything decent to move on to.

So, yes. BS console ports keep me playing L4D.

Yep if Valve added a games worth of updates to it I would be
happy to buy it again, so long as it looked, felt like and
played like L4D-1 (and not 2), Its one of the few games I have
bought over the years that I feel was truly worth my hard earned
cash.

So, Yeah, I would pay another $40 for it!
