Ok what Crazy or not so crazy upgrades did you go out and buy for your Total war exp.....
I already had a top computer but just in case and to get best load times I went and forked out £250 on hard drives i bought my self 4x C300 64 gig SSDs and put them in raid 0 so I got 400 mb/s read times.
Just wondering if there is any one else as crazy as me about tech stuff on computers...

I bought a brand new Nvidia GTX-580 with Arctic cooling. Cost me $575! But its worth every penny.

Nice I use 2x 5870 HDs water cooled with unlocked asus bios heavy overclocked.
How is the 580 performing ? I used to be a nvidia fan till I switched a little while ago now I not fussed on either and go for best bang for buck.

Man i LOVE IT, I am paying Dragon Age 2 on highest setting with no problems at all, no comp overheating, NOTHING. Definitely a very good card.

Yeah and dragon age 2 is very nice looking on full settings been playing it as well.
Tho I don't think much of the game beyound that its to scripted for my liking I like my RPGs to be more open ended.

i bought another 4GBs of Ram. That's it.
i5-750, radeon 5850, win 7, 8GB ram. was 4.
Not a monster machine by any stretch of the imagination, but it handles the game very well on ultra settings @1920x1080
