Just struck me as odd that they never did a Mongol total war, I think it would be pretty cool. thoughts?

Na man it's cool. It's the "Amusement thread: What would you choose as the next TW?" thread.
A lot of people want to see that, along with a Chinese style Total War.
I love all Total War games so I'm down with almost anything!

Total War: Rome II would be my choice.


Which would have Mongols as an expansion pack, they don't deserve there own game IMO.

WW1 total war would be pretty cool. Especially if they can incorporate trench warfare...

so would an american civil war game, but that not too global and the TW have always focused on massive global conflicts.

Except for Napoleon and Shogun? Lol. The American Civil War could work if they made it a global game with it not being the sole focus. We could have a game from 1815-1900's. A lot of things going on in that time period.

i agree, 1815-1900's were an interesting time.

Lol, i know know napoleon an shogun were "less global" but they had multiple factions.

A game based solely on the american civil war would just have the Union and Confederates as a playable faction; maybe the british, french, spanish and mexicans if they wanted to add a little alternate history flair...
