Overgrowth is a constructer with more supportive abilitys, such as armor buffs, traps, and an anti-tank skill.

Appearance

Here's the basic shape, used with pro mspaint skills. Of course there would be more detail in game

It's a hovercraft in case you're wondering where it's wheels are. I know this game doesn't have a hovercraft, but tbh something new would be cool. Although I'm not sure about controls...

Pros and Cons

Pros

-Forces enemys who need to stay in the middle of the fight away
-Armor buff
-Great trap

Cons

-Only damaging skill requires an enemy unit's help
-Bad at escaping and chasing


Skill set

Thorn link

Overgrowth links himself with an enemy unit for eight seconds, dealing 10 damage per second to both of them. Deals 135 damage to enemys that pass through the link. Enemys can only be damaged by it every three seconds. If the link is stretched too far, both units start dragging eachother.

-Long cooldown
-Medium energy cost
-0.75 cast time

Flower

Overgrowth spawns a flower with 75 health that is only effected by normal attacks. The flower releases a steady flow of pollen that buffs team mates both tech and psy armor by 8. Flower lasts 15 seconds.

-Long cooldown (starts when flower is killed or expires)
-High energy cost
-1.75 cast time

Venus Flytrap

Overgrowth plants a venus flytrap at the target location. It's fully visable for the first two seconds, then hides itself in the ground, only showing it's teeth. Enemy units that pass over it are trapped for 9 seconds and take 13 damage per second. Cannot be damaged while trapped. Max of two traps can be out at once. Thorn link can be used on trapped units, and the trapped unit still takes damage. Thorn link deals no damage if it passes through a trapped unit. Cannot be used on spawn points.

-Very high cooldown
-Medium energycost
-2 second cast time

Absorbing Seed

Overgrowth places a seed on an enemy unit. Team mates are healed for 30% (-3% for each unit that's getting healed) the damage that the seeded unit takes. Lasts six seconds. Team mates have to be rather close to get healed.

-Long cooldown
-Medium energy cost
-1.25 cast time.

Changelog

v0.3 Seed heals less depending on how many units it's healing. Flytrap can't be used on spawn points.

Hey, be careful with what skill's the third - Razor copies that skill. Do you REALLY want to fall victim to a flytrap?

Actually looks pretty amazing. Both constructors so far are hilarious trolls, and this one doesn't look like an exception. Absorbing Seed needs a maximum range, though, otherwise it gets a little silly.

Also if you plant the trap ahead of you far enough I don't see why escaping is a problem.

Not sure what you mean by Razor copying it.

Also, It'd be bad for escaping because the trap is very visable for the first two seconds. Useless for escaping unless you're in a very tight path.

And about range, I'm not sure how to put that down, in HoN they use units and i know how long that is, but how would I put down ranges here?

We don't know exact units because the game isn't exactly modifiable. If the devs like the idea, they'll know what ranges to put on these skills.

Thorn link looks great to set Range attackers in their place

Flower also looks like a great idea..Catch the enemy off-guard and secretly hide it and your enemy has some great buffs.With the low hp it has, it doesn't make it that OP.

Not sure about about the Venus fly trap..Since it in some CTC spots..There is a small area to capture the flag and there will be almost no way to not touch it.

Absorbing seed needs to have a maximum cap on how much it can heal, if there is no cap..You could heal all your teammates to full hp and that would be way OP.
Or you can lower the 30% severely..

Wouldn't it be under healer?Since it can heal?

youve never seen it?
and nuk is right that heal skill need a cap
there is some fine tuning to be done but sounds like a good one

Oh, yeah the copycat skill. I thought he ment like Razor had a skill like flytrap.
