Shut it. Valve actually did the same thing with Half-Life 2.

Thank you.

BTW, ALL STEAM games are like this.

Wait til after a year when the patches and so on get bigger, and you ahve to basically download the entire game.

Sucks when you are wanting to install, jump in and play, but it does beat having to manually search for and download all the patches yourself.

HL2 was 1.5GB, even back when the game was released that was almost nothing (750mb if what you say is true).

Nice copy-paste response from the last thread there, champ.

And no, not all Steam games are like this.
I don't think you quite understand the problem.

Downloading incremental patches every few weeks to fix bugs or add content is not a problem.
Buying a physical copy of a game and having half the content missing, just so it has to be downloaded to avoid piracy is a bit of a problem.

I for one, wouldn't really mind. I have a fast connection and all my Steam data is unmetered.
But try and empathize with people who don't have the luxury.
You can scream "LOLZ! GET OVAH ITZ ALREADY!" till you're blue in the face, but that just makes you a total tard.

People are forking out their money to buy this stuff, just to be treated like criminals.
We don't like it, and people more then have a right to voice that.
