I mean, like, REALLY good. At least 17 inch screen, good enough to play Crysis/Battlefield 3. No Alienware, please.

Thanks.

Just pay someone $3000 to carry your desktop for the rest of your life.

THIS. or buy a wheel barrow.
I honestly cannot find a 3k laptop... unless you want to max out an alienware but that would be kind of a waste

You may have just stabbed me in the face with a rusty push pin. I want an expensive laptop, yes, but not to actually waste money. i5, gt330m, 13.1 inch screen, for 2299? NOOOOOOOOOOOO.

In that case, I'll refer you to this (http://www.trustedreviews.com/filter/laptops?page=1&manufacturer=0&filter=62&price_min=nmin&price_max=nmax&score=2&section_id=13&order=4) and stand well back. :)

Sorry about raeging at you, but seriously, that's a horrid price. I also would rather get a Sager referred to in one of the first posts. Thanks anyway.

Sandy bridge I7 2G CPU, 1.5G GTX460M should rock most games..

Yes I copied it from my other post asking the same question..

Why a laptop? Why not a good PC and cloud compute through a laptop and play on your desktop.

18" that is all.

This (http://www.avadirect.com/Notebooks) looks promising. Thoughts?

If your playing on one of them for a while I'd worry about it getting very very hot. Why do you need a laptop?

So I can game anywhere. I know gaming laptops aren't ideal for portability, but they're better than desktops in that you can take them around. Not on road trips, more like "from this house to this house"
18" that is all.
Yeah...but can you specify one of those?

Not bad at all, but for an 18" isn't that resolution a bit small? And the Sager has a better processor/card from xoticpc.

Not bad, but once again, quite pricy. The most expensive has a GTX 460 and a worse processor, for not too much less than the Sager.

I think I'm going with the sager.
