I'd say kinda Twisted Metal/Interstate/Vigilate in a Race Mode. Carmageddon had bystanders (population) and you had three types of winning condition : Race, Destruction, Population. I've never been able to play Carmageddon MP, but i suppose it was pretty much same as SP. Also did not have any active weapons, very few powerups were lethal, but it was mostly smashing that was dealing damages. I'm not talking about Carmageddon TRD2000 that took the road of Mario Kart (offensive weapons/defensive traps) with peoples to kill... that were trying to kill you.

PAM does share common ground with Carmageddon, but the next Carmageddon is scheduled for next year:

It's more Twisted Metal meets Motor Storm, only there's more emphasis on destroying each other while trying to get around the course. It's a lot of fun, especially for the price.
