Is that weird?
People think i'm strange. Is it beneficial to your health in some way?

Only way I could see that being beneficial is that you might burn a calorie.
so at the dinner table while everyone is sitting down you stand up to eat?

Keeps people from grabbing your lunch, if you got a hold of it.

I do that all the time at work because I'm the only one there and I don't get a legitimate break

Only thing I can think of is that it's easier for digestion

At school I stand up when I eat. And my family eats wherever the hell we want to eat.

Slightly weird. It seems like you're not calmed down and not fully enjoying your meal.

Ever ate an hot dog while sitting while buying it from a stand?

It's good to take a walk after eating. It helps you digest your food apparently.

You need to work out!
I eat walking or standing up 2-4 times a week during work. Never do it at home tho. Just dont see the point to walk circles around the coach and eat.

I eat with my butt and poop from my mouth.
I was told it's much healthier.

Bull♥♥♥♥. I don't even get cramps if I go swimming right after I finish eating. The more I grow an as an adult, the more I find the ♥♥♥♥ my parents told me when I was a growing up are LIES! Santa Clause, sitting too close to the TV, making a face that would stick that way, pouting resulting in a chicken ♥♥♥♥ting on your lip, etc. ALL LIES!

I depends from person to person. My friend can't drink water while he works out or else he gets cramps.
I used to do this at school, but only because I didn't feel comfortable sitting in the crowded noise hall known as the cafeteria. I was actually kind of pathetic then (maybe I never stopped...? O_o) because I would stand way out of the way near the outer edge of the allowed lunch area, near the classroom hallways. Yeah, it pretty much could be a definition of socially awkward/uncomfortable. :(
I would take standing and eating as a sign of either being uncomfortable or impatient about something, though it depends on the food and context, too. Standing with a sandwich at a party wouldn't be odd at all, but having a full dinner-type plate and eating it standing up would be interesting in the fascinating, "what the heck is he doing" sort of way.
I just had the oddest image of someone eating a steak while walking down the street. Think the TF2 Heavy and his new sandwich. :P

My Mum reckons it's unhealthy to eat while standing up. I don't think it can really make much difference myself.
It depends like if I'm eating a Hotdog or Nachos or a Pizza

First, it occurs when swimming or taking a bath in general.
Second, IT'S AN URBAN LEGEND! You don't get cramps when swimming directly after eating.
