Available for Mac, but not on Steam

I know that there's a Mac version for sale elsewhere, but will it ever be up on Steam as well?

Indeed. I currently own the Mac version. I bought it as part of the Humble Bundle, which had a Steam-redeemable key. So I redeemed the pack on Steam, and both Samorost and Aquaria (both of which have working Mac versions) are "not available on my platform." Why not? I can currently play them on my platform, so it would seem that they are, in fact, available.

I am curious as to why they have not appeared on Steam.

I think it has something to do with the fact that the publisher for OSX is Ambrosia Software. Contract is probably in the way of Aquaria getting released on OSX via Steam.

I also want the official Steam/Mac port. It's a great game, and I miss my achievements. :(

I hope the Mac version will make its way to Steam soon. Or at least someday.

I hate having to guess what's up. I wish they would just say: "we're having this problem an this is why it's not out yet", and put it in a FAQ.

Well it's another reason for me to just go and Dual boot this Mac mini I guess. That list is getting pretty long now.

Bit-Blot ceased to exist before Steam had mac support.
