DarkSpore in Spanish?
Until now Spain's darkspore promotions were you in Spanish. But DarkSpore beta seems to have the Spanish language in the options available.
Will DarkSpore in Spanish?
All of Spain is waiting after testing the beta, but not worth buying it in English ...

I would imagine it would be available in all languages. It definitely is in German and Greek.

But nobody knows for sure if it will come out in Spanish? It is much money to spend on a game that is in English ... Advertising in Spanish was available. And now both in Latin America and in Spain is expected to be out in Spanish to buy it.

There are a few days to its release final and not know whether to book or not, we're waiting for confirmation of their language.

It will be a real pity if the game is not in Spanish, spanish users are alot against EA, and this will definitely make most of users ignore the games from that company. The game was advertised in spanish and there were also some dev diaries or whatever in that language.
A dubbing would be the normal thing, but not even subtitles in spanish will really make me cancel the preorder, which I did before realizing it does now look game wont be in Spanish.

Too bad most of spanish which complain like us just tend to post in Spanish forums, where no one who matters will read them.
Anyway EA knows about their sales rating, they will wait till the game is released, has uber poor sells in Spain, and some smart guy at EA will make some numbers, showing they should better have paid for the language support.
After releasing Darkspore on any language but Spanish you could avoid releasing anything else on this country, cause theres a big anti EA movement here, thanks to decisions like this.

Pretty sure any game failing is attributed to piracy nowadays, not the people who actually made decisions on the game.

You are right, that's the most used excuse nowadays. They will say "piracy's fault" when this game won't sell due to lack of translation/subtitles, drm's and permanently connections, upcoming DLC's that will raise game price up to 100$...
Anyway, I've preordered this game before checking the language support, xD, so I want it in Spanish, since for me it was a natural supposition this game had it, more when they already made some ads in that language.

Unlikely to happen with Darkspore, since the key is being added to your account and not the game, much like Blizzard handles (and therefore sells) their games.
If they manage to hack this game into storing it's ♥♥♥♥ locally, that would be a great job right there. It would be the first time I'll actually believe that they hire more than average repackagers. For the record, I don't condone hacking ;)

Funny thing is they initially announced Spanish language support, and then all sudden, they removed it. While logged in into Darkspore official site, its so funny, I can see the menus in spanish, then the rest in plain english, and some weird html strings like ES_account and so on.
Is EA so poor they had to cut that language so they could afford publishing the game? Do spanish translators earn more than a football star, and thats why they could'nt pay it? what a shame...
