People who got free beta access unable to purchase game

I know this issue has been brought up but I was just wondering if it was ever sent to the right people and/or fixed.

I planned on getting it, but happened to get a beta key before hand, but now I can't actually purchase. ):

You can purchase it as a gift to yourself for the time being.

Once the beta ends, your current key will expire and then you activate the real one.

I had been following the game on their site, assumed that would've been the authority on these matters.

Too bad I was big up on this game, I could've spread it to my network, gotten a lot of sales.
