Question about end of beta and earned stats...

What happens if the beta closes, will all earned stats on that EA account be wiped ?

Yes, all accounts will be wiped so everyone gets a fresh start in the final release.

I know, it sucks... But I suppose it's only fair for the people who'll get it on release and haven't played the Beta. :O

With the final release all accounts will be reset. However you might be able to keep your progress in some of the other beta tests.

It would be fun if in the gold release, when we unlock our heroes, they already have all the customizations we made to them in the beta, detail items and all, not including the actual weapons and armour we equipped them.

just another excuse to re run those 12 levels for items. co-op is actually playable in this game. i'm not accutomed to finding 3 randoms who you can actually stand to spend an hour or so with....lack of chat probably

yeah come on dude don't try to extort EA with ur puny US$50.

why should stats carry over from beta? beta is presumably a time when things are going to be changed/balanced/etc.*, so u can't very well blend pre-release stats with v1.0 stats it would be meaningless. apples and oranges.

(*though it's EA so who knows.. they don't really seem to care about those sorts of fine points of game development. they just ship what they told their suit-ey managers they were going to ship, and everyone's happy. er wait... no, the players aren't happy. just the suits and stockholders.)
