I have the same problem ever since I bought the game and nobody can help.
Instead they release an update with poetry as description which didn't solve the issue at all...

Hey thanks man, that totally fixed my problem! I should have thought of that earlier because my Sims 3 didn't work too without a DEP exeption.


"For windows 7 users that are having a crash on finishing loading, you guys have to add the exe of 123kick it to the windows DEP List. To do so people have to go to the system area in the control panel, choose “advanced definitions of the system”, click the definitions button on the “performance area”, and the finally go to the DEP area of the new menu and click “Activate DEP for all programs & services except those I choose”… all you need is add the exe of the game to the list afterwards and it should work."

Why does this still happen? Games shouldn't require DEP exceptions. TWEOTW needs one too.

So this is why I keep crashing on launch, how pathetic. Simple indie games that require DEP disabled..... laughable.

I was able to play the game during the Potato ARG (after putting in a DEP exception), but now it crashes with a startup error.

Nvm, validated and then it worked.
