How do you expect us who work with elektronics and software to sell crap like this?

A word to all the haters out there :)

Even tough myself belive that this game is not working atm, i enjoy playing around with this beta. I would have bought the game later on anyway im sure of it. I actually like this release since i know this product will be good in the end.

Funny thing is tho. I work at one of EU´s biggest resellers of software etc. And my software manager only bought in 2 copies of IL2CoD to die hard costumers, we took back one of them today becase i could indeed tell my collegue, that our costumes was right to be upset becase i play the Beta to.

How are we as a store suppose to act? Do you mind me telling costumers we think crap of you? I Pushed all my costumers to go PS3 for 2 weeks instead of XboX when microsoft made black ops dsl map pack exclusive on xbox the first month, so pls dont ♥♥♥♥ with the small people.

Im the kind of guy that can sell a PS3 to Bill Gates while at the same time we have a 50% sale on XboX and have free givaways on Xbox Games. Why? No its not becase Bill Gates allready can get all that for free. Its becase i am one of the best Sales men out there and i am that good becase i sell what is good for my cosumters.

If they come in and you know the state of the software you can be honest with them.

That being said - it is a functioning working product that can deliver hours of entertainment even in its current form so I don't really see the problem. Maybe warn customers that it is future proofed so not to expect it to run like Crysis2 on upper range hardware.

Anyone who buys a game for future use is an idiot because it is quite possible in a few years it will not even run due to hardware/driver advancement.

And yet Il2 has lasted 10 years of game development and modification. An engine that clearly exceeded its design parameters but continued to be developed.

Do you kinda think, given a chance to do it again, the developer might try to give their audience an engine that will do the job better? That is what I understand from the COD engine and it blows Il2 into the dirt as far as flight modeling and aircraft detail goes.

I do hope they get the bugs ironed and bring DX11 features to the for especially tesselation but we all gasp in awe at Crysis 2 and that was released on an engine only utilising DX9.

Your millage may vary but I do hope that COD is a piece of code that will grow with time and 5 years down the track we'll still be seeing great additions to it if not longer.

Agreed. Just give us a game that is PRESENT proof ffs. We'll worry about the future later...
