Hello,

These last 2 weeks I've been having some annoying lag.
My ping is fine on almost all of the servers in my area but I just freeze/choke every 1 or 2 minutes for 10-30 secs.

I have no idea what it can be I messed around with my rates and interp both orange and white lerp seem to make me freeze.

Can anyone please help me cause I'm really losing interest in this game if it keeps happening it is unplayable.. :(

Thanks.

I get BAD lags, even as bad as stuttering. I blame the server I play on. I like it and cannot find any better so I'm stuck with it.

Better the devil you know.

I did a format today and it didn't help anyone have some suggestions?

In the good old days of Windows 3.1 it was possible to write a start-up menu where you could load Windows or games. Windows was in slot 1, Doom slot 2 and so on up to slot 7. In the autoexec and config files you could determine what loaded and what didn't. DOOM was a big game in those days, 16Mb (or was it 60Mb). Most PC's couldn't handle it without a start-up menu.

We seem to have moved on slightly.

I have called my ISP and they claim it can't be the connection. I think it could be my rates too anyone have some rates I can try out?

Tell your computer spec, do you have graphic cards with crossfire or SLI ?

What I can tell my experience, I have Ati HD5970 (2x gpu).
I first tried play this OB-Cs:s (when OB released) with crossfire enabled, but game have to run over 100 fps.
Below this it looked like it's running 30 or lower fps. (I use fps_max 60 - 101)
When I disabled this crossfire mode off, then game run wery well like should be on 60fps to up.
But that time I haven't get those "freeze".

I recently purchase OCZ RevoDrive PCI-Express SSD harddrive for experiment. Before that I have use normal SATA2 hardrives in RAID mode.
Now if I try again enable crossfire on, I get those 10 seconds "freeze" randomly when play.
Disabling crossfire again helped.
Also there have been graphic driver updates on that time.

But not get these lags on other games.

Now I have keep I these two for now, SSD and crossfire. (Next time I buy new graphic cards, it's definitely Nvidia)
