Starting waves

When i hit enter nothing happens - so i just stand there ?

Well I do not have that problem. But it can take a while for the mobs to reach the bridge. But if you have seen no enemies within 30 second max, there probably is a problem. Maybe check if you change the key binding for starting a wave (no idea if it is possible but that is the first thing that comes to my mind)
