Try doing interdiction with fast ropes, shoot the engine block out, fire team slides down the ropes, and secures the occupant in the vehicle, cuffed and taken back to the FOB for interrogation.
ETADIK is an acronym for Special Forces. google it.
http://s1215.photobucket.com/albums/cc515/ETADIK/?action=view&current=HCSHH-60HInserttraining.mp4

Fast rope inserts on roof tops, it has no barriers to game play and the scope is unmatched.

1800+ Hrs in game and I will say it again NOTHING COMPARES To it.

Pre-Operation Planning:
http://www.7thcavalr...ng-for-23apr11/

All Pilots and Crews were assigned their Air Craft before the Operation kick off, and their Rolls they needed to execute in this operation, WO1.Tsaba.D took the lead roll in mission planning and helped brief A/1-7 Pilots and crew over the Battlefield during this Operation, Section Leads running up to this operation did an outstanding job in planning, training and execution. there will be some review internally in A/1-7.

I ordered all gunners not to fire on anything on the ground you could not confirm a target carrying MAD PADS and RPG's ,AA, or any Air assets trying to leave the air space or attack ground units that were cleared hot, As A/1-7 Commander I received calls to confirm ROE on all targets hit. They were destroyed or killed by confirmation. and Cleared by 1IC /A/1-7 Commander.

OPERATION "Dirty Deeds." START:

When I saw all the Airborne Personnel loaded up I gave the Green light to GO, Engine start ups were a go. Sandman flight consisting of Raider1-3 and 1-4 they took lead in front of Grizzly1 en-route to DZ Alpha, "Boogeyman" Flight Consisting of Raider1-1 and 1-2 moved over the ocean to Fire Point Alpha , Raven 1 also left base after main air assault flight left the air space.

Half way to DZ Alpha enemy HIND's were spotted at the same time Grizzly 1 was about to drop Airborne he took an RPG hit and went over intercom to have airborne evacuate his disabled Chinook, 75% of the chalks got out and on the ground, the topography where Grizzly went down in wasn't level and ELP failed. Raider1-1, 1-2, 1-3, 1-4 All were ordered on A2A threats instantly, engaging them all successfully , after Boogeyman flight went to Alpha Fire Point , masking behind the mountains they engaged the Air Field and destroyed all enemy assists that were a direct threat to their Air Craft, Raven 1-1 came in and became TACP designating ground targets for Raiders in every sector to again secure the air field for the Airborne infantry. "Norma Jean" was called for ending the first part of the engagement, to allow Airborne infantry to move into and secure the Air field.

Air assets were patrolling the perimeter and engaged targets with Directional Hellfire's or DAGR missiles. No Fratricide occurred at any time. During the Airborne assault on the Air Field I CPT.Harrison.J, flew in CPT.Rogue to meet up with his fire team. 1 Bogey was sighted and bugged out, after landing and viewing the carnage that our force caused for the enemy the 7th Cavalry now owns that Air Field. Raven1-1 and Raider1-4 were at a hover when an RPG came out of the forest beside th air base and cause a collision 1IC's raven took damage on taxi way and had to RTB for Repair leaving the AO.

Raven one called in on the net saying there were some enemy combatants that were surrendering he thought that they had weapons and asked for clearance to Fire a DAGR missile , But I told him to stand down the Infantry will secure them. I watched Air Borne through out the mission from DZ to target area ensuring they weren't in A/1-7's line of fire, and their movements on the ground solidified our hold on the air base, it was secured.

ENDEX was called.

Raider 1-1 (Boogeyman1)
Pilot:CW3.Cosner.C
Gunner:SPC Mort
Plan was to allow the cobras to escort Grizzly in while Bogyman 1 and 2 break off to pick a fight. En-route, the flight picked up enemy air contacts closing on our aircraft. I ordered the cobras to break and engage while myself and WO1.Tsaba.D broke for a thunder run on the airfield. We felt an early offense would distract the enemy long enough for the grizzly to drop troops. As we cleared covered, I got eyes on enemy Migs at the end of the runway. SPC Mort opened fire on ground troops and I released a salvo of rockets into the Migs to deny the enemy their use. SPC Mort scored over a dozen kills on the pass. Upon reaching the south end of the runway I broke East for another racetrack pass. I was momentarily locked on by enemy radar but evaded to the NE. It was imperative that the enemy be denied any air assets. On the second pass, my gunner engaged the enemy hind as we closed on the base. I took a direct hit to the nose from ground fire and was ejected from the aircraft. SPC Mort continued firing on the enemy with the cannon after the aircraft soft-landed until he too was killed. Upon respawn, we took up position at firing point alpha to relieve Bogyman 2 to rearm. My gunner,SPC Mort cleared any remaining troops and equipment, including a rogue enemy huey, with hellfire's and cannon rounds.

Mini AAR - Boogeyman 1 Gunner POV - Specialist Mort, Chris

After loading in successfully, locating our designated airframe and loading up into the aircraft. Myself and CW3.Cosner.C were tasked, alongside Boogeyman 2, to follow behind Grizzly 1 and to then move around and hit the enemy airbase to help soften it up for the advancing ground troops. We proceeded to break and perform a thunder run to distract enemy units and to soften up/destroy any that were present. Countless numbers of enemy foot mobiles were eliminated on the first run while CW3.Cosner.C used the hydra missiles to hit and eliminate the enemy mig fighter jets that would have no doubt destroyed us if we didn't get to them first.
After the first run, we circled back around to get a second run in but on approach, my pilot was shot out from an unknown source and the aircraft landed heavily but without exploding. Upon noticing that there were multiple enemy ground units approaching, the cannon was utilized to eliminate them and to hopefully prevent any surviving migs from taking off, however, the aircraft took a rocket and subsequently exploded.
Upon respawning and grabbing the freshly spawned Apache, we set off to help Boogeyman 2 and allow them to RTB to rearm, we stationed up at FP Alpha where multiple enemy trucks and ground units were spotted and engaged. An enemy huey was spotted and subsequently engaged but not destroyed by myself but by someone else.

We followed CW3.Coz Raider 1-1 (Boogeyman1), in from the north and did a strafe on the air strip and then immediately pulled out and headed west avoiding enemy fire towards a pre-designated firing point. From there my gunner wasted the rest of the enemy migs and laid waste to the enemy Fixed Firing positions and then worked our way down the food chain of enemies, shortly before breaking station we came in to contact with an enemy air contact and knocked the enemy huey out of the air.

After rearming and refueling we went back on station and monitored the island for any more threats.

Raider 1-2
Gunner:PFC.Gordon.F

PFC.Gordon.F AAR:
Set off as raider 2-2 gunner with WO1.Tsaba as my 2-1. Traveled scanning forest and beach-head well traveling to the alpha firepoint.Spotting 0 enemies en-route, reached alpha firepoint and began dispatching enemies on the airbase. First the fixed wing aviation , no rotary spotted. After fixed wing dispatched got to work on infantry and light ground targets. No hard targets spotted. Broke off to attack enemy air targets. Attempted to fire upon southern airfield to stop the enemy air support but my computer wouldn't render so far so me and WO1.Tsaba.D landed on a quiet island and switched seats (he was now gunner and me as pilot). After firing some shots at southern airfield the ENDEX was called and we RTB. over.

Raider 1-3
Pilot:CPL.Parry.JD
AAR: Operation Dirty Deeds
Raider 3 (Sandman 1)
Pilot: Corporal Parry, Jack D
Gunner: Specialist Robert, Jameson
The initial plan was to approach from the north side of the island allowing Sandman 1 & 2 (Cobras x2) to escort Grizzly (Chinook x1) in to DZ while Boogyman 1 & 2 break off to the south to the airfield and ensure no enemy aircraft were able to get in the air. As we approach, we had contact with enemy aircraft. Sandman 1 &2 were ordered to intercept. My gunner, SPC.Robert opened fire on an enemy Hind. The Hind was critically hit and went down but not before it was able to get a shot on the Grizzly. We followed Grizzly 1 in as the pilot attempted an emergency landing. However Grizzly 1 unfortunately failed to land safely. We surveyed the crash site to check for survivors but none were present. At this time my gunner spotted an APC entering from the south side of the airfield and open fire destroying the APC and all personnel within. We started taking heavy fire from ground forces and SPC.Roberts returned fire taking out many enemy infantry troops. We took a critical hit to our engine and I started procedures for an emergency landing when a Huey was reported close to our position. While we were making the emergency landing, SPC.Robert was able to acquire and shoot down the reported enemy aircraft. We landed safely and called for extraction. A Little Bird soon arrived and we RTB.
Upon arriving Home base, we grabbed another Cobra and made haste for the AO. When we arrived, ground forces had advanced to the northern edge of the enemy airfield. We then hovered in an opening in the tree tops with a view of the airfield and covered the advancing troops. A report of another enemy Hind in the area was made and we moved to engage but took a critical hit and attempted an emergency landing. We had no opening in the trees to set down in and were both killed when Cobra came down in the trees.
Upon respawning we grabbed another Cobra and again made haste for the AO. When arriving at the AO we immediately took a hit from an unknown source and made a safe landing where I blacked out and found myself revived by and unknown friendly infantryman. At this point the Airfield was under control by friendly forces and operation was ended.

Raider 4-1 (Sandman1)
Pilot:CPL.Oddie,Mark C
Gunner:SPC.Ibeam,Alan

Started the operation unsure of what role I would be in but was assigned Raider 4 AH-1 Cobra with gunner SPC.Ibeam,Alan.
We were tasked with flying out first in front of the grizzly with raider 3. along our course grizzly broke in early across land so we moved to the holding point to see if we could provide cover. Grizzly went down after heavy contact. We moved to a height during that time were we had view of the airfield and DZ but out of OPFOR gunman sites. SPC.Ibeam,Alan proceded to engage enemy contacts zooming in on DZ and airfield. Multiple ground, hard and soft targets were hit but unsure of exact count as I was scanning the skyline for air threats.
Broke holding pattern and took us in closer to airfield going along coastline, approaching the airfield we were hit and went down on the enemy airfield. Other option would be wet feet.
Re-spawned and was successful in a few more kills and successfully maintaining the airframe till the end of the match.

SPC.Ibeam,Alan did a very good job as he is not from the rotary gunner section. After checking trooper was not signed up for the mission or
on extras list but showed up to support the Cav.
He excelled being under the current circumstances and rose above his current duties.

We Took Off Behind main force Flying Low and fast to avoid enemy aircraft until we reached position NW of Ojective Alpha Were we Engaged 1X MI-24 I used miniguns while gunner hit with DAGR missile disabling it. The pilot had ejected Close and behind friendly forces I then preceded to engage with mini-guns eliminating him.
We then proceeded to recce both objectives where we engaged multiple targets and disabled a M113 and Also lazer designating targets for Raider element
Took fire and had to set down behind mound for gunner to heal.
We then continued onto airfield were we engaged "Surrendering" OPFOR who were confurmed to be carrying and throwing grenades
At this point we were now engaging hill SE of runway which had multiple enemys at which point cobra (callsign unknown) pulled in next to us to help give us support At this point my gunner had spotted hostile targets moving to the right of us We then moved out to engage when We hit portside and collided with cobra
endex was then called shortly after.

SPC.Redbeard.N's AAR:
Mini-AAR - Layman's POV

With no experience in flying choppers for =7Cav=, I treated this as an opportunity to learn more about my Air Scout brethren. Rolled as a Medic and placed in Gunner's seat on RAVEN 1, took off in support of BLUFOR assault on OBJs ALPHA and BRAVO. Flew a low and fast approach, avoiding enemy aircraft until in position NW of OBJ ALPHA, roughly 1KM W of DZ. Engaged one enemy Mi-24 with Miniguns and DAGRs, hitting the tail rotor. The pilot ejected and landed danger close to Ground Callsign Charlie, so AC killed him with Miniguns. Observed both OBJs ALPHA and BRAVO, alternately engaging targets that became a threat or designating targets for RAIDER callsigns to eliminate.

At this point, took HMG fire, wounding myself. We touched down briefly in good cover while I bandaged and then took off and continued designating targets with only minor damage to the airframe.

Was not called in to assist in 68W capacity but continued to engage ground targets that seemed to pose a threat to BLUFOR advancing units. At one point, OPFOR surrendering targets were confirmed to be carrying grenades and faking surrendering, so eliminated any that attempted to surrender but were clearly armed, leaving those not so clearly armed to be picked up by ground callsigns.

While designating a target, took a hit portside and collided with a Cobra, callsign unknown. ENDEX called as we were taking off in replacement RAVEN.

All in all, an enjoyable experience with only a little motion sickness. Thanks for the opportunity to fly!

Loaded with 2x Morphine 2x Epinephrine 2x Bandages 6x Medic Bag, M16A4 4x STANAG, 1x GREEN SMOKE, 1x RED

SMOKE, 1x FM-92a Stinger.

Transported INFANTRY squads to IP ALPHA, took serious hit to Chinook (GRIZZLY-1) went down at DZ ALPHA with loss of all infantry and pilot and all crew of chin hook. Respawn at base, re-arm with same loadout, hitched ride with Little Bird (RAVEN-1) with few members of DELTA INF lead by CPL.Vicente.R with few others, landed at DZ ALPHA, CPL.Vicente.R was injured, CPL.Nukem.D patched him up and DELTA began to bound SOUTH EAST aprox 500-620METERS to ALPHA INF, pushed past ALPHA INF and regrouped with BRAVO and CHARLIE INF. BRAVO, CHARLIE and DELTA INF moved tactically EAST to the airfield, took fire from the adjacent hillside on the eastern-side of the runway. All contacts were neutralized seamlessly, after which BRAVO or CHARLIE moved across the airfield and proceeded to clear the runway SOUTH up to the Compound. BRAVO or CHARLIE then pushed along the west side of the airfield to further support the friend lies across the runway. DELTA moved onto the runway at the NORTHERN END around OBJECTIVE ALPHA- Commandeered AAA Emplacement (DISABLED (unable to use)) at sandbags. APROX 2-5MINUTES after OBJECTIVE ALPHA was secured 1x SU25 ENEMY took off NORTH-BOUND from runway past OBJECTIVE ALPHA. CPL.NUKEM.D immediately prepped 1x STINGER, locked-up BIRD, BIRD banked around 180degrees, began to strafe at DELTA INF from NORTH to SOUTH - CPL.NUKEM.D took shot and destroyed SU25(PILOTED by WO1.Raiden). Having captured OBJECTIVE ALPHA, CPL.NUKEM.D regrouped with GRIZZLY-1 and RTB'd. After OBJECTIVE ALPHA (North) and OBJECTIVE BRAVO(South) were secured, GRIZZLY-1 received COMMs that there was a priority POW transport request. GRIZZLY-1 moved to EVAC point APROX 50M NORTH along the runway up from OBJECTIVE BRAVO, LANDED and secured POW.

ENDEX was called afterwards.

Parachute drop along the coast went well despite a few who were lost as the Grizzle was hit when the last few jumpers were exiting the aircraft. Once on the ground each team rallied quickly and proceeded to the main rally point. In route to the rally point some resistance from enemy forces was encountered, each team did well in countering the contact. Alpha section cleared a villa that they came across on their way to the rally point, taking out what enemy forces where hiding there before rejoining the main body on its way to objective one.

Upon approaching the first objective infantry ground forces were spotted near the Northern end of the air field, also anti-aircraft guns where located there. Each team moved into position to best engage the enemy infantry units and they were quickly eliminated so that we could infiltrate the Northern end of the airfield. Alpha section went to the Eastern side of the airfield as this was higher ground to help give a better overall visual of the area for the rest of the group while, the rest made our way down the tarmac. Though there continued to be some resistance being meet as the teams moved down the tarmac, they were not able to hinder the operation and very quickly we had the Southern end of the airfield as well.

Once we had main control of the airfield and proceed to insure that there were no more enemy forces in or around the area, Delta Section located an enemy infantry member who was looking for a way out of the area. Once Delta’s team leader, Corporal Vicente, Ralta was able to get the enemy subdued and a disarmed, proceeded to have them returned to main base for interrogation.

Now, that the airfield and surrounding area had been cleared, higher command was informed that we controlled the airfield. Standing by for reinforcements and further orders.

Participants:

Alpha Squad
CPT.West.C
1LT.Grimshaw.M
CPL.Grey.T
CPL.Manship.B
SPC.Fritz.E

AAR:
Upon starting the mission, the squad was instructed to grab T-10 parachutes out of the ammo box and perform initial pre-jump checks before loading into the Chinook (acting as transport). After receiving the order to load, Alpha squad entered the Chinook and subsequently departed for the drop zone.

Upon entering the DZ, Alpha squad parachuted out and all landed safely except for SPC.Fritz.E who was bugged and was unable to jump out and died when the Chinook crashed. CPT.West.C, 1LT.Grimshaw.M and CPL.Manship.B landed close together while CPL.Grey.T landed further to the South of the DZ. After securing the drop zone, the squad started to advance to rally point 1 until an enemy Mi-24 was spotted. CPL.Grey.T was able to successfully hit the Mi-24 directly in the body of the aircraft with a Stinger missile, the aircraft continued to fly until it was out of sight of the unit.

While continuing to RP1, Alpha squad encountered a small village that was inhabited by enemy personnel. After confirming the enemies were hostile, Alpha squad immediately started to eliminate all hostiles within the village. CPT.West.C and CPL.Manship.B flanked to the right of the village, while 1LT.Grimshaw.M and CPL.Grey.T flanked to the left to perform a pincer maneuver which successfully eliminated all hostile targets. After securing the village, SPC.Fritz.E was able to regroup with the squad.

After departing from the village, Alpha squad was ordered to head East and approach Object Alpha from the North-East. After several minutes of moving, Alpha squad came upon the outskirts of Objective Alpha and continued to move to the South-East, parallel with the airfield, to try and take Objective Bravo. While moving to Objective Bravo, Alpha squad came under enemy fire from the East. While taking fire, CPL.Manship.B was killed by an enemy explosion. While the AR gunner laid down suppressive fire, CPT.West.C, 1LT.Grimshaw.M and CPL.Grey.T moved up on the enemy position. After several minutes of searching, it was determined that the enemy had moved positions and could not be located.

Alpha squad regrouped and continued South-East down the airfield to an outpost that overlooks the airfield and meet up with Bravo squad. After Objective Bravo was secured, ENDEX was called.

In the beginning Bravo team geared up and readied themselves for the battle that awaited them. Their objective, to take the enemy airfeild, clearing it of all hostile forces with help from our Air support. Once Bravo team was good to go we all lined up behind the CH-47 waiting to be call aboard. When the order was given, all Friendly infantry boarded up in the CH-47 along with them, Bravo team. Once in the air, we were briefed on our drop orders. Coming in for what started as a good drop however once the chopper took fire, we knew things were about to change. The CH-47 took a big hit, and I ( Corporal McGahan, Liam) gave the order to bailout to my troops, all Bravo team jump out out, just in time. when our chutes deployed we saw the CH-47 hit the deck, many soldiers still inside....We did not let the problems get to us, we grouped together on on a small ridge line by the coast and set up security. Stating over the comms that Bravo team was all on the ground and ready to move. A hostile aircraft flew over head, it was identififed as a MI-24. I gave the order to open fire, the chopper revived minimal damage, i saw it start to turn to come on an attack run however just before i gave the ordered to fall back and get away from the current position, Corporal Grey, Tharion eliminated the air threat personally. The Mi-24 was down but all was not safe, a second attack aircraft came over our heads, i knew we couldn't waste time shooting at the aircraft, we all agreed, i gave the order to move out as soon as the MI-24 passed over us.

We left the drop zone, and cover our sectors as we moved, we began walking to RP1. As one of the only full strength friendly teams in the area we picked up a few single troopers from other teams that came with us until they met up with their own teams once again. When on the move i got word that one of the other teams had a couple of troopers that required a medic, it was Delta team, two of my men fell back to help however on arrival couldn't do anything, they regrouped with the rest of Bravo at the rally point. Bravo was the first Full team at RP1 and we secured the parameter as we should. We heard over comms that there was an enemy light vehicle close to us, but we never heard anything else about it, and, proceeding with caution, never encountered it. Once at RP1 i talked to command to get our updated orders, we were moving out to Objective Alpha.

The move to ObJ Alpha was very tactical, the whole team moving in formation, always on guard. I decided to take the squad to flank the objective from the West, we moved there slowly and carefully. When we created a hill on the western side, i ordered the team into a firing line. We took a look with binoculars and saw enemy across from our position, i was not taking any unessential risks. I moved our team through the tree line away from a possible engagement with the enemy. At objective Alpha We set up a firing line on a Western ridge. Multiple enemy's were spotted at the Objective. Static emplacements and even a light vehicles and a Helicopter where at the Objective however all were annihilated by friendly forces. During this engagement with the enemy, Captain Rogue, James was killed in combat not before he eliminated 7 enemy troops before his death. I (McGahan) was wounded in the fighting but Private First Class Clarke, Jake attend to my medical needs.

When objective alpha was clear of all hostile forces, Bravo team moved up to the main hangars on the airfield on the western side of the strip. We pulled security for the rest of the game and covered Delta with their EPW while the CH-47 landed to pick them up.

ENDEX was called afterwards.
