View Full Version : Fire turret or flame jet block petition

This is a petition to add some kind of fire weapon to the game.
Shrieking / crackling enemies would be amazingly satisfying.
Jet block - Shoots fire from exposed sides, one square flame.
Low DPS, however, shooting grenades into a hole on the top of the
unit turbocharges the flames.
Fire turret - Shoots like the scatter tower at one target, mobs in the same square as the burning enemy incur 5% of the fire damage per square for four squares.
Even if you just clone the lightning tower, the variety would be nice.

That makes me think of something. All turrets should have variants you can upgrade them to. And upgrade the variant from there as well. So you aren't stuck at level 6 :D

Yes please! definitely a great idea.
Also i think the same should be possible with weapons, since later on they seem pretty useless because their damage output is too low even on the highest level.

It would be cool to upgrade attributes like Damage, Rate of Fire, Magazine size etc

Thats a good idea, liking being able to upgrade the turret so that it does DOT would be awesome.

When I read the title I thought I wouldn't like the idea, but then after reading your descriptions I actually love it.

All turrets of all TD games =D
A turret that shoots through all of them would be nice and or slowing all units, like tornado generator for air >.> (Bit too sol survivor, I guess...)
But I like what we have already, more is just a plus to me =D
But yeah we all love fire~ Burninate~ Kill it with fire~ Maybe more "futuristic" it is special plasma? =D That also slows a bit? =D

Yes. More weapons and turrets (and maps) will keep this game fun.

I think a Damage over Time tower or towers are a good addittion. As Misoski mentions, I think plasma is a good alternative to fire.
At one side I like the idea of having player-activated turrets, but on the other hand, if it is nessicary to defend your base, you'll be forced to stay around that turret a lot more, which reduces your freedom...
