This is like the perfect game for me to play while i'm chilling on my couch and playing it on my laptop with my 360 controller or on my desktop attached to my tv, however, the xbox controller support is really really wonky and doesn't work well. I know my controller works because it works with all my other games, but there's something about about this game and how it just doesn't feel configured for a controller that makes it frustrating.

Please think about redoing your controller support for this game!

The problem for me is I can't begin a game without choosing insane difficulty.

Any devs see this? :( The game is out tomorrow and I'm worried.

We are working on improving the support for gamepads. No quickfix just yet, but it will get there soon. Hang in there!

Thanks for that. I also play on my tv with a 360 controller, and needing the mouse and keyboard (which are at the extreme limit of their paltry IR range) to make some selections is annoying. So I'll definitely be looking forward to improved gamepad suppot.

Right now the Xbox controller support is lacking in one area; there is no way to use the televators since the mouse is needed for choosing a televator in the overview mode.

This will be fixed as soon as I get the time to work with it. But except for this thing can you explain what you think feels "wonky" about the controller support? I can't anything if I don't know what's wrong with it =)

Navigating the menus in the game with a 360 controller is very difficult to do.

That one is on me as well =) Again, if you can give specific examples of what's not working or feels of it'll speed up my process quite a lot :)

I was trying to adjust my sound and graphics settings while using the 360 controller, and the cursor would get stuck at the top value. Also, you cannot launch a singleplayer game without setting the difficulty to Insane. I haven't tried the multiplayer, but I'll be you can't launch the game without setting the difficulty to Hardcore.

Once you are in the game, there is no way to switch between building/upgrading towers and upgrading your weapons using the controller (that I'm aware of). Not sure if this is your department, but make sure that all of the keys are rebindable and that should solve that problem.

I've also noticed that there isn't a way to adjust the sensitivity for the controller, and the base value does seem (to me at least) to be a little low.

Menus do feel wonky when using an XBox controller. But besides that, I don't feel that anything else is lacking... that could be just me, though. Thank you for working on improving this.

If you're using a 360 controller, you can switch from the tower upgrade menu to the weapon upgrade menu by pressing "B". Switch back to the tower upgrade menu by pressing "X". Don't know what the buttons would be for any other controller.

One thing I noticed is that when changing graphic settings, pushing back and forth on the analog stick changes both the "fullscreen" toggle AND the setting you're actually trying to change.
