cannot play, not even 1 fps, help

So, I started the game first time (finally got some time to get in a ride), and I realised I have to press a button at the menu like 3 times or hold it down for a sec minimum to work. When I started the game I had like 0.5 fps maximum, so I set everything at the settings OFF, and set the resolution to the lowest (640x480) as well. Restarted game and I still have not even 1 fps in it!

My config is:
OS: XP
CPU: Intel P4 3.0GHz
Mem: 2 GB
Video: nvidia geforce 9500 GT

Looks I'm above the min system req's, or not? :confused:

I don't know what could I do. :(

Please update your GPU and DirecX drivers.

I find this funny lol, how did you even run other 3d games on your pc with that mess?

he is running xp, not that bad for xp. as long as he doesnt upgrade his os and he leaves minimum settings on games he can play a fair few

i noticed spaced out had a similar issue. his game ran like it was in slow motion, he was up to date on everything, and made specs. i believe they still havent worked a fix for him

Yes my PC is quite old, but I can play all my games without any problems. Right, most new games I have to set to low graph settings but still... I have everything up to date. This is the only game what I can't play. It's like screenshots what are changing every 2 seconds when I try to play. I say again I can play other games fine. Also I checked the system specs of PAM what says my PC is able to run it. So... wth?

I have the 9500GT and i run on max setting for everything but GTAV. I play the games that support it, on DX11.

A awesome tip you might not know about, that will help to improve the gameplay alot, here goes...

Steps Taken

Right Click On "Post Apocalypyic Mayhem" and click "Properties"
Click "Set Launch Options"
Type "-safemode" and click ok
Run the game and enjoy the improvement


Hope that this helps someone as it seems to have made a huge difference for me and see you guys around.

Thanks for tryin' to help, I set up -safemode, also added the game to my antivirus' exceptions list, closed the browser and everything else before I started the game and... nothing changed. When the logo appears that is lagging too and not just a little, hard to navigate in the menu, and starting a round... you can guess. Sigh, I have to play GTA 4 instead of this game, got no problem at all with that.

Strange. All what I know is the cpu usage is between 100% and very-close-to-100% right after I start the game.
