Seriously i have come across games with authentication issues, im sure alot of us have done.
But this game it is a wide spread issue after googling the exact same issue i ran into, and it requires ppl to contact EA support and pray you get a person with insight into the issue.
So far i have waited 22 minutes on their live chat page and still await a rep to help, this is seriously a major issue and i cannot understand how in this day and age of digital consumerism that an issue such as this is so widespread from such a well know company / distributor.
I hope this post helps some ppl avoid the frustration many are enduring, and atleast fi you do purchase it you understand there is a very good chance this issue will still be apparent.
31 minutes of waiting yet it took 2 seconds for a fix from the rep, perhaps i am being sour but this is a horrible time consuming solution i can't imagine what happens to ppl who have no insight into issues with games do when they run into these issues or what they think after spending money and finding the above issue and are unaware of how to even google for the answer..
