Yea, no sale, to go through the trouble of removing the multiplayer reeks of pure lameness. At least leave the LAN. WEAK!

So, choices are;
1] Buy DS3 now + get ds1 & 2 registerd on steam
2] Buy DS3 on release.
Multiplayer or not, Its better to have a small percentage of something than 100% of nothing. :P

That's the way I look at it. I am not pre-ordering or buying until the reviews or demos are out(if they will be offered).:)

I never go by reviews, they are totally unreliable.
The reviewers tend to not be neutral when reviewing, if they hate the game personally, they will hint on it, by making sound more worse then it really is.
Like Alien vs predator, the recent game, that game rules, i have finished all 3 campaigns like over 50 times, it deserves a 80/100 at the very least and maybe 85-90/100 at the most.
But sadly, reviewers basing EVERY ounce of the reviews on multiplayer, like its the only thing the game has, multiplayer on these games have never attracted me, especially alien vs predator, it requires all players to play like their race choice, but they don't, which kills it and makes it not worth doing.
Thats why i never, EVER go by reviews, since 95% of them tend to go by their own likes and dislikes, which is NOT what a reviewer should do.
I personally would give a neutral review on the games i review, but i don't have the job of doing it, paid or otherwise.

3) Buy DS3 a week or less before release. Get DS1 and 2 Single Player, AND keep your money until the game is about to be released.
Sounds like a win, win to me, Never give your money to someone that early, that's just not a good idea financially.

Looks like it has co-op.

This game has co-op but everybody's character is saved to one file on the host's computer. That means you do not have a true persistent character like you do in Diablo 2.
It means you cannot just jump into random games or play the same character with different people. Obsidian will not change it ever because they want the game to be story driven, they want to make less money on their game basically.

Lol same bull♥♥♥♥ again..stop talking crap, you HAVE persistent character which is persistent in Multiplayer only, just like you do in D2. I haven't seen local character playing on Bnet...

This is wrong, you don't have a persistent character:
"You control a character in the host's game, and that XP/progress is saved with the host's. So you do gain XP, but you don't take it back into your local game.
If you continue to play with the host, however, you will always have your progress/loot/etc."
-A Dev on Obsidian's forum (http://forums.obsidian.net/index.php?showtopic=57432&st=0)
So, no, this is nothing like D2. D2 you could have more than one of each character in a game. D2 let you build your own character. This isn't like d2's single player characters being separate from closed bnet characters; this is like Fable co-op.
Don't buy it if your looking for a diablo-like game.

A review is a subjective opinion about a game and will obviously reflect the biases of the writer, most outlets get around this by assigning reviewers that like the genre a game is. It is impossible for a reviewer, as they are human, to review something in a completely bipartisan way.
You make the assertion that you don't care about multi-player (your bias) which made you arrive at a much higher score than other reviews. Personally I thought the game was around a 75 as the campaigns were too short and there was a lack of multi-player content and there was severe netcode issues. We three people arrived at three different conclusion about a game which is normal even among people who like FPS's. My advice to you is find a game reviewer who seems to share your perspective on games and follow and read their reviews and take that person's reviews into consideration when reading up on a game.
However never say a reviews' job is not about giving their opinion on a game, thats exactly what their job is.
