So I have an issue. I got attacked by a fleet without engines. Well, what I had of a fleet there was long-range only, but not enough to kill their ships. They didn't have any long-range weapons (even weirder for a no-engine fleet), so they couldn't hurt me at all.
So I was stuck plinking at their shields with weapons that couldn't actually do damage fast enough to take down their shields.
Considering this was my home world, I couldn't just retreat, but neither could I win. I let this run ad 4x speed for 15 minutes, to no avail.
What is supposed to be the resolution here? Also, why on earth can ships without engines even be a part of an attacking fleet?
