GTA 4 complete is probably going on sale soon,so my question is:

Will it run smoothly on medim on my rig? And if yes,is the MP populated?

SPecs:

GPU: EVGA NVIDIA Gtx260
CPU:Intel (R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E4500 @ 2.20ghz
4 GB ram.

Keep in mind, tho im getting a new PC and the specs will be:

GPU: ASUS NVIDIA GTX560 SLI'd
CPU: Intel Core i7 960 3.2ghz
12gb RAM
MoBo: ASUS Rampage 3 Extreme
HDD:Seagate 1TB + external 500gb

So even if i don't run it on these settings, will it run on max smoothly on new PC?:)

@OP don't listen to this guy. You have a way better rig than I have (new one) and I can get it to run fine.

It will be garbage on your old one.
It will be smooth as butter on the new one.

I know I'm not answering your question but why aren't you buying the i7 2600k? So much better.

First, you forgot the most important thing - your monitor resolution. 1366x768 is about two times faster than 1920x1080 on the same rig. And those 3x and 6x monitor configs are just crazy in terms of system requirements.

Second, GTA4 will run just fine on your new config in HD, and at bit lower resolution on your older config. You don't need such monster machine to run this game.

Third, you don't need 12Gb RAM for games. I suspect your machine will be even a bit slower compared to 6Gb.

Fourth, you need fast SSD. Maybe cut a little of all your components and buy it. Not for games really, but for overall system response.
