widescreen anger

is there any way to run san andreas in 1920x1080 without using a 1.01 exe? i want it to still count my playtime on steam... getting kinda jarateed with rockstars halfarsed pc ports, every single rockstar game on pc since gta2 has had some issue(usually minor ones most studios would have patched out launch week) ruin there otherwise great games(bully on pc was nothing short of disgraceful) i really don't want to be forced to use a cracked EXE to fix a bug in a game i payed for (especially when its a bug they introduced in a patch):mad:

You supposedly can just rename the exe to gta-sa and it will work with steam.

same here, cant get it to work with cracked exe either.

you could probably find a mod for san andreas widescreen if you head over to the gta forums. It frustrated me too but I just downgraded to the 1.0 version.
