View Full Version : Have Campaigns been made more difficult?

A few days ago I started noticing a higher number of tanks and witches on every map in Campaign mode. Sometimes I find up to two tanks and two witches on a single map, even on Normal mode, all one after the other. I like the change, I'm definitely not complaining, I'm just curious to know if anyone else has noticed it.

AI director makes it easier/harder depending on how well you're doing. I'm PRETTY SURE I've had 3 tanks on one map before, but I could be mistaken. Play on Easy and Normal will cause this kinda stuff to happen a lot because such game modes are generally too easy for even just slightly competent players.

Ai director seems to fail regardless of how I am doing. I just got out of an expert campaign on bh where I was running laps around the farm house for the final:(

Two Tanks are very normal on longer maps in Coop. It happens most on DA3 (the longest of all maps in the game), which is also the only map, which has a chance of three Tanks by default.
Dead Air is in that case a mean campaign, anyway. I even remember that at the end of DA3, we had a witch nearby the car-alarm AND one right after at the ramp to the second floor.

Still, as lower the difficulty, as higher the chance for two Tanks per map. Some, however, never going to have two Tanks. Finales* (mainly because they are so short), No Mercy 4 and Blood Harvest 4 (Witch and Tank can appear together, however).

*obviously, I am not talking about those Tanks spawned after the finale started but random ones).

Yeah, I noticed it when I started seeing two witches so close to each other I could hear them both crying at the same time. I've been playing this game a lot for over a year and that kind of stuff didn't start happening for me until a few days ago, I guess I magically got better at the game or something. :p
