Synchronizing takes Ages....

Anyone else noticed?

After closing the game, you get the usual "short download".
At least for me this "short download" lasts about 10 seconds which is like 3 or 4 times longer than any other Steam game.

Anyone else having this???

I noticed that whenever I close Portal 2, it takes about ~5-10 seconds for Steam to start responding again.

Steam is uploading your saved games to the cloud, each save game is roughly 3MB in size so depending on your connection it could take a while.

Thx for explanation, I didnt know that :)

I often play games like L4D 2 which dont have save games, so their synch time is very short for me.
