I bought the game during the potatosack-season and even though I didn't spend that much time with it, yet, I have to say, that it really is a fun and challenging game for a small price! It would be a very good game for playing on the go... but that's the problem:
I have a desktop PC at home but use a MacBook Pro for being mobile.
So are there any chances of a possible OS X release of Rush? I mean, Toki Tori has also been cross-platform, so...

We are working on it but that's about all I can say about it at the moment.

You could use boot camp to get windows on your mac. (as a secondary OS, the setup is really simple)
But do you have any news now? its quite a while since you said youre working on it.

We've got some stuff running on Mac, but we're not quite there yet. Expect to see it at some point though, it's high on our priority list.

Doesn't that require you to purchase a copy of windows ?

well yeah it does. where are you from? in the EU its really easy to get a system builder version. (basicly the same only without phone support. which isnt helpfull anyway) just get it off amazon.
In the US it should also be possible, i think ive seen it on amazon.
For other countries i'm not sure.

TBH, the game is worth finding a windows computer to play on. If I didn't love it so much I wouldn't keep pestering collin :P

Windows would be easy to acquire, but I'm not sure that Rush alone can justify the cost.

I'm pretty sure we'll be able to release it before the summer is over. No firm date though.

I am currently playing this with Crossover and it works quite lovely.
I would caution against playing in full-screen mode, as it's a bit wonky.
Getting it to work properly involves installing the Windows version of Steam through Crossover. From there, download and install via that windows Steam implementation.
I've found more than a few of my windows games work quite well through Crossover'd Steam though more than a few do not, notably those which use .NET 4.0 (maybe some others).
I don't work for Codeweavers, I just like the product (because it's a hell of a lot easier to screw with than doing a wine implementation, although that is a free (as in beer) method of getting Rush to work. (I think you would have to install Steam through Wine, as well, and then install through Steam as usual.)

I think this game would suit a mac perfectly.
Though I don't own a mac myself :P

We're looking into an iPad version. iPhone may be too cramped we think.

I hope it releases soon, because I played through quite a few levels on Windows already and would love to finish it. I just hardly ever use anything but my Macbook Pro.
