yes finally I have a game that AMD improved on and it applies to me.

I've been using the preview for a few weeks now and can report that they gave my crossfire 6870's a 20FPS bump in performance across all games. Very awesome drivers!

ohh nevermind i have a 6870 1gb and i lost frame rates i had 90-100 now im getting like 80

In BC2 I increased a average of 20 FPS. I'm running @ 1920X1200, 4XAA and everything else maxed and or on. So far everything I have tested shows very noticeable performance bumps.

Maybe something got reset in CCC?

BSOD'ed on first install, and failed to install on all subsequent attempts. Have tried clearing previous drivers with both the AMD driver installer's Uninstall feature, and with Driver Sweeper.

Attempting to roll back to 11.3 to see if I can get it to work at all. Currently using generic Windows driver.

I'm guessing Catalyst 12 is going to be out with the new 7000 series. I just installed 11.3 from 11.4 preview, to test anything and got nothing changed. I'm using a 5770 anyway though.

Was able to roll back to 11.3, everything's fine again.

This is annoying, given how many CFX improvements there are supposed to be. Something wrong with the installer, I think, as it didn't ask me to reboot when I installed (11.3's installer did, and the uninstall on 11.4 did). Whenever I did a manual reboot, I would only have the AMD Vision Control Center or whatever it's called (different from CATALYST, the old app name) in my systray and when I right-clicked the desktop and could change my CPU clocks with it (which I could do with Catalyst anyway), but I had 0 GPU-related options in Vision. I installed 11.3 again and Catalyst was back, as was my resolution and graphics options.

I'm curious to see what happens if I just install the new driver and leave everything else (Catalyst, profiles, all the other options) intact.

Catalyst Control Center refuses to start, tried a few different driver version...ran driver sweeper, driver cleaner pro, manually deleted folders, files, etc...ran registry scans etc and yeah...will not start for me...Windows 7 64-bit

No fixes for Total War stuttering so I'm not very pleased with these.

Updated from 11.3 to 11.4. Works fine for me. I saw a few improvements in BC2 and Shogun 2 !

HD5750 here for single and 6950s crossfired on another rig.

Haven't noticed any problems on either.

The new auto-update thing I'll probably never use.

Yea I found my issue was Vsync with bc2 I think. But yea everything feels smoother.
