Is this game really worth $9.99? I mean I know it comes with 1.6 but I already have that. :( Is there ANY other way I can get it without CS? I'm dying to play some CZ :(:(

I think it's worth 9.99, but then again, I like it better than 1.6

Pretty much just lets you play on CZ servers.

Nobody can really answer this question for you. It's really up to you if it's worth 9.99.

The 9.99 will give you access to CZ servers, to the CZ single player, and to CZ:Deleted Scenes (which is a single player story). CZ servers are fairly different from 1.6 servers - they're usually more laid back, there are a lot more bot servers, etc. Different people play each game (generall, a person will either play 1.6 or play CZ on a regular basis, rarely both). But ultimately, it's just the same game with better graphics.

It's really up to you whether or not that is worth 9.99 to you.

Grrrr. I knew I should have got it when Steam was having all this Christmas sales. ;( I guess I'll have to make up my mind or find a new copy somewhere at a computer store. Thanks everyone. :)

Paid 20$ for the box few years back. Im satisfied with my purchase. When the servers are being buggy I love the single player and deleted scenes. In all honesty I bought it back in the day FOR the single player campaign, but keep coming back because the servers are more stable than CS and CS:s.

Damn, I'm still debating if I should buy it or not. Haha I don't know why it's taking me so long to make a decision. I just feel it should be cheaper but that's just me. I think I'm being a little TOO picky. :p

cz is easily 10-20x less popular than 1.6, if you have trouble playing 1.6 now expect cz to be a waste of money.
