I really don't understand it. What is DMS? What's with the menu that F4 brings up?

Dynamic missions are missions that are assigned to your team at certain time intervals. You can complete them to gain extra points to get closer to the goal (usually of 1000 points). If your enemy prevents you from completing it they also get a lesser amount of points.

DMCs are chosen using the priorities that players set in their F4 menu. I think you can see in that menu which DMC is likely to be chosen next.

DMS is a compilation of all of the Dynamic Combat Missions that can arise during the game.

As you complete Feats (killing players, destroying objects, capturing bases, repairing stuff, etc) you gain points toward the Dynamic Mission System. Once you get enough in a particular type, a Dynamic Combat Mission starts. These missions are announced and listed on the right side of the screen during gameplay.

The F4 screen allows you to prioritize your favorite kinds of DCMs so you are more likely to see those occur during a game.

Can you see which DCMs are going to be coming up soon in the main HUD, or do you have to press F4 to check everytime? This was one thing that was annoying in the last game.

DCMs are the side missions that pop up during Conquest

The F4 menu is which ones you'd prefer to be activated once you've accrued enough points(not the VP you get from CPs)
If you tick Airstrike, then Airstrike will start if it isn't on cooldown

DCM is the most important aspect of the game as these missions give your team or the enemy's more victory points then hacking for normal control points

Not sure about Prejudice, but in original S8 I've seen games won soley by winning all DCMs that came up, despite the other team holding all the CPs

Kind of funny that they are the most important when they are the least explained. I mind myself just overdriving to a map marker hoping I can figure out what to do. I think its especially confusing you can see the drop off point for something before you have picked it up. Myself an lots of people run to those an can't do anything when we get there.

That's a bit of the point. Most of the stuff that has a marked droppoint is stuff you're going to have to do a pretty hefty fight over, so that marked drop gives either team time to set up a defense or offense

Play a bot match and then try every DCM that pops up. They aren't very complex but they are hard as if you're trying to solo them. Bots will cover you so you'll yeah.

Yes that makes sense. But still for the team trying to escort it that shouldn't pop up until you actually have the item. So everyone knows which way to go an doesn't go to the wrong place early. That or make it more clear which is which.
