CS:S Tabbing back in problem...

Hey guys

First of all sorry if this is in the wrong section. (If it is please move it to the appropriate section)

Ok so when im playing CS:S and i tab out then back in i get a black vertical bar on the left on my screen which is about an inch wide and if i move in game or look about i get a flickering like if your looking at a CRT monitor through a video camera or something.

Does anybody know what this could be?

Remove mat_antialias and mat_aaquality commands from your config or autoexec.

it seems to have worked thanks alot!

one more problem though.... every now and then while im playing, i get 5-10 seconds of low FPS and im not sure why... i have an intel e8500, gtx 480 and 4gb ram and windows 7 64bit.

What could this be also?
