Currently I use MorphVOX (http://www.screamingbee.com/product/MorphVOX.aspx), but I can't seem to even get it to work right, and my voice always sounds nothing like how I want it to.

Any help with that? Is there any other better free software I can use?

Why? So you can spam chat with bull♥♥♥♥ in a different voice? There's no reason for that kind of software other than to piss others off imo.

Either your a kid/adult with a high pitched voice or what the person said above.

I don't know of any fantastic ones that can go on the fly, but one thing is that their effectiveness can be cut in half by a lot of background noise/bad microphone/weird gain settings.

Jeez, you don't need to attack me. I just want to use it with friends. Thats the only time I use my mic.

I'm pretty sure not telling you how to do this is a service to the community

If you paid for it, you ought to ask support.

Just asking a question, are you insecure of your voice or have social issues. I say this in a way to no offense at all.

Again, I want to use it with friends, mainly to joke around.

Geez guys, just answer the question if you can. Otherwise, don't criticize him on his use of the software that he has obviously stated that he just wants use to play around with friends.

You know? I'd like to kind of know how to do realtime voice changing. Not for online gaming but for other stuff. I'm a sound designer and score composer by trade so I am open to learning anything sound related.

Dude... if you paid 40 bucks for that stuff, why the hell would you look for a free alternative instead of telling them they should make it work!?!?!?

Throw your "I`m a paying customer"-card in once in a while.

I didn't pay 40 bucks, I used the free trial they had in case it didn't work as planned.
