In the matches that I've played over the past week, I've noticed that the vast majority of them are lopsided from a playing and score perspective.

One team seems to have experienced players who know what they're doing while the other team seems to run around almost aimlessly and in complete disarray.

Has anyone noticed the same thing?

Not my experience (with exceptions of course). I generally play games where the final score has a difference of 200 points at most

I think a lot of people are simply still grasping how the game plays. That from the moment the first base is captured it's a tug of war right till the very last moments. As someone in another thread said it's about peple adjusting that kd means nothing, solid team work and being constantly on the ball does.

I don't think the game balances experienced against newbies as even experienced players can simply lag behind when the flow of a match goes against them for whatever reason. The wrong thing done at the wrong time can be extremely costly. I've been in matches where my team was way behind and actually still managed a victory in the end.

I've been in just as many close calls (3 point difference in one) as I have matches where my team simply didn't gel and we got hammered from the off.

It's even more hilarious when the AI wins the game. I've been in matches where the bots on my team just completely creams the other side full of actual players cursing at each other about how much they suck.

Personally, it doesn't bother me as I'm a casual gamer.

However, I can see where it could get frustrating for some gamers and possibly dissuade them from continuing to play S8P, which would be a shame for such a great-value game.

Problem I find is that teams are maintained and never scrambled. Thus an all-star team of team players (we all know it: teamwork is OP) stays together.

TBH I have noticed this as well. Problem is trying to get the poor team to do team work. I've tried, asking the team to head to CP3, so we can survive the kill DCM, I forget its real name, etc. Iam talking and typing, then the other team works as a team, we lose.

Part of the problem, IMO, is this game has a strep learning curve, which in recent years seems too turn folks off.

Most games run quite nicelly. I find there generally is a balance where 1 team is a little more skilled but the other has some runners/stategic players/etc which keep making sure posts get conquered/side-quests completed/under attack teammates get a teamy spawned ontop them(ahem ...).

There are matched that have plain silly teams, like all the most incompetent playes all of a sudden formed a team (quite annoying to be on it). Very infrequently I see a game that has what I can nothing else than lamers on it. Pawning noobs with groups of "stats-players", camping side-quest spawn-locations, etc -> kills the game(yes you might find it fun, untill the other guy quits and you have no one to pull it on anymore), those games usually end in very one-sided scores.
