Guess not many have noticed my request for a better icon (http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1882291). Some of you tried - thanks for that - but with mixed results. :D
I just bought the game on Steam (hurray!) and as a present to the fanbase (and to the developers) I tried to create my own icon. In the end I was surprised how well it turned out, since I just messed around in Photoshop a bit, creating a PNG with transparent background from an official screenshot.
Here is the result:

I think at the very least it's an improvement over the standard icon (no offence meant dear developers, you focused on the most important thing: The game ^^).
It may not be perfect, but it looks good on my desktop - and even scales very nicely, so it can be used as object dock icon, too. So I thought I might as well share it. :)
