"Arsenal of Democracy" vs HOI3

I never had the time to play HOI3,
now "Arsenal of Democracy" is a special.

If you know both games, which one is better ?

Or can't you answer that question that easy ?

I wondered the same thing last night and here's what I came up with:

HoI3 has more depth. AoD is easier to pick up and play. HoI3 is not the better game between the two, but the expansion for HoI3 makes up for that. If you are looking for long sessions of intense gameplay and depth, go with HoI3. If you are looking for a fun night skinnydipping in the fun that is simulated warfare, go with AoD.

That was enough to convince me to buy AoD rather than HoI3. I'm not that hardcore and I just wanted a game to get in and out of without having to spend too much time learning how to swim.

Darkest Hour has WW1. :)

And I like AOD more than HOI3, but that might be because I wasn't that smart for HOI3. Took me way longer to figure all out (I even didn't) than in AOD.
