Hey all,

I was just wondering, if you don't import a save from the first game, what are the default/"canon" decisions?

For example (spoilers from first game);

Do you save Abigail?

Who do you side with?

Do you allow Vincent to live?

etc

I had intended to play through the first game and use the save, but after missing a few quests, accidentally making a wrong decision early-on in the game and realizing how long it would take to finish it...I gave up. :p

The neutral decisions are the "canon" ones from what I understand. So basically, siding with no one and not pushing anyone's agenda is what the "real" Geralt would do. As for the other decisions, I have no idea.

There are three openings. It may allow you to choose which you want.

The specifics of things like Abigail and Vincent may be irrelevant.

Bumping this thread up since the game has been released for a while now.

From what I've seen, one of the default/canon decisions is that Geralt sided with the Soia'tael in TW1, based on what it says in Geralt's bio in TW2.

Most decisions don't really matter.

The death of Adda is one, and the side you took is another.

The 2nd one mostly affects whether the Order hates your guts in Chapter 3, but that's it.

If you are playing on the Iorveth's side and helped Yaevinn in TW1, there will be a dialog between Geralt and Iorveth mentions it. If you didn't help Yaeveinn and remain neutral, Iorveth will understand your decision to remain neutral and let the things flow in their way. I don't know the dialog if you helped Order but you are playing on the Iorveth path. didn't import that one yet.
