Great things come in small packages.

Claustrophobia is my first map (ever), aptly named because of the large puzzle within the relatively small puzzle space.

Included in this map are:

1500 Megawatt Aperture Science Heavy Duty Super-Colliding Super Button
Thermal Discouragement Beams
Aperture Science Weighted Storage Cube
Aperture Science Weighted Pivot Cube
Excursion Funnel
Doors
Panels
More Panels
Lots of Panels
I Like Panels

KNOWN BUGS (Advise on how to fix would be appreciated as I haven't a clue):

NONE, I just fixed them!

Just commented it on mAL but forgot to mention that I really like your panel work. Nice panels. Continue to make maps. With panels. Have some +reptiles.

Yeah, the indicator lights for the laser catcher are buggy for some reason which I have no idea of.
Thank you for the comments!

Nice chamber! I made a video of my first play of it, I'm not that great a portal player but not that bad either. Hope it helps, it was fun bouncing the cube lol

Watching it back i think the part when i got trapped in the laser room is a bug? some of the stairs where up then I went and played with the cubes, and suddenly it worked?

I've seen that happen to the stairs as well (sorry) and I have no idea why!

I liked it, especially where you had to stack the boxes.

However, some of the indicator lights for the discouragement beam will flash randomly if you shine the laser in then move the redirection cube. Something you might want to look into.

I fell through the floor at the top of the panels in the far room, near the door. Had to noclip to get out. This may be related to your "sometimes the panels screw up" bug.

Anyway, if you want to see it (including me falling through the floor), I recorded most of my play (http://evanparity.com/portal/claustrophobia_demo.zip).

The goo is a little repetitive visually too. I haven't used Hammer so don't know what you can do there.

Fixed ALL of the bugs (I hope) and made the goo animated as it did look boring (it just involved changing the texture).

Cool update here. What was wrong with the indicator lights?

The ones for the laser kind of flickered depending on where you stood. I just spent 10 minutes replacing them and it worked.

Very sweet map! +rep

Design: excellent
Difficilty: easy

Love the way you implemented the reverse funnel simply using oppositely situated portalable squares, instead of the yellow reverse-direction funnel.

I found the puzzle to be somewhat... lacking.

Nice use of the elements, but visualy, it's not that pretty, I don't know if it's because of the overlighting, or because of use of different textures.. but the map doesn't 'fit' with itself in certain parts.

Mostly the walls, floors and ceiling.. which is kind of everything.. Some pannels are to bright, such as the circle aim pannel thing, for the faith plate. It's just a white blob with a blue circle on my screen.

When looking at the lights again, and where there are fixtures, it more seems there is a giant light in the middle of each room that is invisible, then the lights on the walls or ceilings that are shining.

pretty cool map. it didn't feel too streamlined.
