If you have a C2D with an nvidia video card then please leave a comment as to how well the game runs for you and on what settings.

This is what I have,

C2D 2,6GHz
4GB DDR2
9800GTX+
Win7 64bit

and can run all the latest game on high or sometimes meg-high settings with decent (24+) framerates.

Thanks!

you're looking at medium/low.

1440x900 for all games. I can run Crysis on high even in multiplayer (dx9) and Crysis 2 on med-high in singleplayer. Brink is also on med-high settings.

So, probably medium with some low.

I'd wait for the hd7 series since that's probably out in a couple of months. But if you've already ordered a hd6970 it's still an awesome card :D

Get a hd5870 then :) Overclock it and you'll have hd6970 performance anyway.

Ok that's not so bad I guess. I'm not interested in FSAA, VSync and HDR crap so unchecking those might help a bit. Thanks for the response!
