Ok, i've had two goes at this. I've experianced-

Random lockups
Corruptd DLC freezing on load screen
Load Screen Crashes
No music
Red outline weapons and items

This game is buggy as ♥♥♥♥ all. How did this supposedly optimized port get by testing?

You forgot one problem: Everything.
I cant even launch the damn thing because it says the Fable III Main Executable has stopped working.

Oh but didnt you hear? It was supposedly built from the ground up specifically for the PC, they had a dev diary and everything... it was the main reason Lionhead took their time and released it later than the 360 version.... Personally, I'm with you on this one, and I want to see this great game get the attention and fixes it deserves, the attention I suspected from the very beginning that it wouldnt get. 30 fps frame cap, no AA, lack of crossfire performance scaling, disappearing bread crumb trail just like I experienced on the 360 version, same slightly muted/blurred palette, and a list of bugs (of course the bugs happen as they always do when software is designed for a certain range of available computers), but supposedly they focused on this version, though I suspected otherwise as devs will say absolutely anything to sell their game for obvious reasons.

Every game releases with bugs, some more severely then others. It's how well the developers deal with these bugs post-launch that determines my opinion on them. Will LionHead release a bug-patch in the coming month or so is my main question, not ♥♥♥♥♥ing and moaning like 9/10 other people on here.

I've played it for 7-8 hours today and I haven't had any of those issues. You have an nvidia card btw don't you.

Same here. Radeon HD 4895. 8 hours into the game, not a single bug/crash.

It's not a perfect port and the code isn't very optimised (I play Crysis 2 on maxed-out graphics with great FPS and this game has low FPS on not even High settings :() But it still good IMHO. I'm just wondering if I should have bought Witcher 2 instead though.

Let's not forget the train wreck Black Ops was when it was first released. Not every game will work perfectly for everyone, except me I haven't had any problems so far.

Nvidia GTX 280 here. Had to disable SLI but its been running smoothly on max settings since then. Still on 267.24 drivers.

I'd just like to reiterate that I've had no game-ending bugs, or any crashes what-so-ever, and that performance isnt where it should be and there is definitely a crossfire flicker, but it is far from a bad port by a magnitude. Nothing I've seen so far that cant be fixed with a CAP update and maybe a driver revision. In fact compared to some bad ports I've seen, this one screams quality and especially potential with fixes.

Only bug I've seen is my dog flying. Other than that, it has been running perfectly.

I don't mind performance bugs, but when I can't even play the game for the bugs, somethings wrong. And yes, I do have an Nvidia card, is this the 90's where what irrelivant brand of overpriced silicon I cram into my rig means I can't play half the games on the market again?

After my third reinstall I seem to have fixed all the bugs. I also waited until I had initial access to the Sanctuary before downloading/installing my DLC this time. I will progress further later and see if the problems are really gone.

I feel like I'm alone in this, but I had crazy regret after seeing all the reviews. But having played the game for a few hours, I have to say that I haven't run into any problems, bugs, or crashes. The game actually ended up being better than I expected. Granted, it's not as spectacular as The Witcher 2, but it's not at all something that I didn't think it was going to be from the start. In short, I'm satisfied with what they presented, and I don't think that Lionhead shortchanged us at all. Just because they said they were going to fix the bugs that were in the console version (which they did, no doubt about it), doesn't mean you should expect the game to be completely different. It's the same game, just with less bugs.

LOL, what operating system are you using and what're you're specs. As you said that ur pc is perfectly capable of running the game, maybe its best to see if it can handle the game, after all, not all games work for all operating systems.
