Ping Spikes

Hi all,

I have a very good ping on most servers of around 25 fps, however, every 30 seconds or so it spikes to 551 fps and lags my game for around 5 seconds (which is bad if you're getting shot at). I am on a wireless connection. Does anyone know what is going on?

Just FYI, fps is frames per second, which is different from ping. Ping is measured in ms, or miliseconds, which is the amount of time it is taking for data to make a round trip from your computer, to the server, and back again.
