Baltimores Nightmare. *sigh* A stupid follow the note quest.

Right, where the hell do I go? I figured out the well in the dead center of the town, and then I go up near the three dwarves to see the river flowing. Past that I'm completely confused, hell I might not have gotten anything right.

The third step says go past the gate? What gate? Like THE gate of the town? Or just some random gate.

Anyways I need some help.

It was very easy... ill give you a hint..that group of mostly elves guarding one of the portals to the wraiths ...its past them .. the river that is mentioned is a DRY RIVER pretty much ..

Another hint ...past the 2 trolls ... the married ones..

OH you mean THAT river? Not like half dozen I spotted on my way into the chapter. No who would have known THAT one. Out of all of them. And it was dry! So obvious. Not the river right in town, oh no sir. It's even ten paces away. ;)

Well where echoes dwell. I don't think they're talking about an actual well, but the quarry.

There's a chest at the bottom of the quarry up a path near the entrance to the cave. That's the first half of the riddle, not sure if you want the 2nd half yet :P

You can see the river on your map. Its just supposed to tell you which way to start walking once you've found the well. You're not actually supposed to go the river its just for orientation.

Well where echoes dwell - yes its talking about an actual well and the only one in the area is in the burned village outside of the town - thats where you start.

When the note says you have to walk towards river it means the river far to the north, it doesnt mean go TO the river, just in the direction, so follow the path north.

Then turn left (at the spot with elves) and walk through a gate. If you follow that path you get to the crossroads the note later talks about etc.

Why's it called Baltimore's Nightmare? I live 20 minutes outside of Baltimore MD, which is why I'm wondering. Don't tell me if there are spoilers.

WRONG! There's a well dead center of town. Looks like a crater, but it even has a crane with a bucket. Hence my confusion. Worse 10 seconds away up the hill near the dwarves is a crack in the wall where you can see a river. Hence even more confusion.

Could anybody tell me where to find the dream crystal in the first place? What colour does it have?
I did hunting magic, the harpy queen bounty and I destroyed the nests. I did the last one on a second visit to the harpy lair but I just could not find the blasted crystal. I ran through the whole lair both times. It is driving me nuts.

It's the blue crystal if I remember rightly. Should be near the start of the cavern, on your way to the platform where the dream viewer is.

IIRC Baltimore's is silver.

Well to simplify things cause I walked all over the place and killed a ton of harpies by a rock pile till I figured out things way way later and several levels later.

What I recall:

Talked to a dwarf on north side of town with 2 other dwarfs doing smithing. (not the crafter smith dwarf area)

I ended up going in the abandoned house where you saw the dream sequence. Using your amulet you can pretty much see a glowing box near the fire place. You get inside and get the note.

From there you end up at the quarry and there is a treasure chest above and near the dream entrance door. Get the item inside.

Here is where i got confused for some time assuming there was some hidden entrance in the rock pile. (not) Go back out of the quarry to the Totem Idol thing at the "Y" path. One path is back towards the Scoatel and mist...one leads a upward slope. That path takes you down to a ship on the beach. AT noon the ships shadow points towards a hidden door behind some bushes.

The end.

I left out several things so you can decide on your own the choices you make on the way.

Hope this helps... I swear I killed so many harpies that they should have been extinct. :)
